Signature Mystery Shopper Program Terms and Conditions

Participant agrees to comply with all terms and conditions of the Mystery Shopper Program.
Participant acknowledges that Signature reserves the right to make modifications to requested mystery shopping assignments and has no obligations to provide the assignment requested.
Participant is responsible for making his/her own hotel reservation, booking the SIG rate, and submitting the SIG amenity form. Please note that reservations are not to be requested for stays during any of the hotel\'s blackout periods or excluded room categories. If blackout dates or ineligible room categories are booked by the shopper, the stay will not be refunded, and the mystery shopper will be responsible for all charges. For a complete listing of blackout periods and applicable room categories for each hotel, refer to the individual hotel listing within the Signature Mystery Shopper website.
Participant acknowledges that the preferred hotel agrees to provide room, tax, and Signature benefits complimentary for up to two consecutive nights during the 2025 program period to the participant. Room rate, tax, and amenities may not be provided nor requested for a 2nd occupant in the room. Participant understands that only the room rate and applicable taxes (2 nights) and the Signature hotel program amenities will be credited. Taxes, resort fees, parking, personal charges, and other non-amenity items will be the responsibility of the participant.
Participant will not advise any hotel staff of their Mystery Shopper status prior to checkout. At checkout, after reviewing the folio to ensure that any Signature amenity credits have been correctly applied, the participant will present the certificate to the front desk staff. Front desk staff may be unfamiliar with the certificate, and some time and inquiry may be required for the front desk staff to be able to honor the certificate. Participant will remain patient and polite during this process.
Signature understands that situations occur that may result in a participant needing to cancel their initial reservation and book a new date. Participants are permitted one cancellation and rebook after selecting their mystery shop hotel property. Participants that cancel their booking a second time will be removed from the 2025 program.
Participant will complete the online hotel evaluation accurately, honestly, objectively, and in detail within 10 days of their stay. Participant understands that failure to complete the online evaluation within 10 days will result in a $200 charge to the agency and the participant will not be eligible to participate in future Signature Mystery Shopper programs or Signature special events.
Participant agrees that at all times during their Mystery Shopper stay, they will act in a professional manner, comply with the hotel code of conduct and dress code, keep their Mystery Shopper status confidential, conduct themselves honestly and honorably, and comply with all laws. Requests for special accommodations, including but not limited to room upgrades, late checkouts, or additional occupants beyond the specified room type are prohibited.
Participant waives, discharges, and releases Signature Travel Network Cooperative, Inc. and its members, owners, directors, officers, and employees, from and against any claim of any and every kind and nature, arising from or relating to my participation in the Mystery Shopper program, including but not limited to personal injury, death, loss of or damage to property, delay, loss of earnings, injury to reputation, privacy violation, intentional or negligent act, error, omission, or accident of every kind and nature in relations to the booking and management of my reservation, failure of the hotel to honor the certificate and/or failure of Signature Travel Network to grant my requested assignment. I shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Signature Travel Network Cooperative, Inc. and its members, owners, directors, officers, and employees, from and against any claim, liability, loss, or damage arising from or relating to any of the matters released in item 8.
Participant agrees not to do or omit to do any act or thing that in Signature Travel Network’s judgment misuses or abuses the Mystery Shopping Program.
